Getting to

Bumbusi is a 3-4 hour drive from Victoria Falls town. A vehicle and friendly guide will be ready to fetch you from the airport and drive you to camp. You will drive an half an hour on a tar road, before veering into the bush and onto a rougher stretch of road with gorgeous scenery that will take you safely to camp. The last two hours of your journey will be a game drive through Hwange National Park.

What to pack

• A pair of comfortable closed walking shoes to wear for walks and around the camp at night. Sandals/slops to wear around the camp during the day.
• Swimming costume, sunscreen, wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses and perhaps a light sarong or kikoy for summer afternoons by the pool
• Camera or video camera, binoculars, spare memory cards and charging equipment
• We recommend bringing along lightweight clothing that is neutral in colour, and ensure you can cover up to protect yourself from mosquitos at night. Winter evenings and mornings can get fairly chilly so it’s a good idea to pack a fleece jacket.
